Colour highlight notes and/or branches
Allow a note and/or branch to be colour highlighted. When doing tests I'd like to be able to highlight things as needing follow up or shell popped or false positive.

Add additional Node Types
The host node is useful for externals. It'd be cool to have some more ones like say "complete" "High risk" etc

Simultaneous note editing by multiple users using ShareJS and browserchannel.
At the moment, if someon saves note while you edit it, previous note content will be lost. That'll be useful to have ability of simultaneous note editing. It can be done integrating this projects to dradis:

create a way to copy an existing note to a different node
This should allow users to copy a note the same way you can copy a document from one folder to another folder in Windows, Mac, etc.

Function to recover orphaned nodes
I recently had an issue with nodes that were created with an invalid parent ID. Dradis should be able to find nodes that are not accessible to the webUI because of bad parent-ids, that is ones that refer to nodes that don't exist, and put them in a special node orphanage.
See original request:

When an invalid filter is used in the "Import from.." tab no error is displayed
If a user mistakenly submits an invalid value in the Filter parameter, the application fails silently without providing any feedback.

Allow multiple simultaneous file uploads
I've been doing pentests across a wide range of hosts using nmap and this can generate literally hundreds of files. Currently, these can only be uploaded individually and this is extremely slow and frustrating.
It would be great to either be able to upload multiple files simultaneously, or upload an archive and let the given plugin unpack it automatically and populate the branch for you.
I'm surprised Dradis can't do this or similar already.

Hi JRod,
This sounds like a good idea. It would be a bit tricky to manage all the background processing and the queuing, especially if something goes wrong…
Looks like a fair amount of work, but I like it. How is your Ruby? :D
